LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care. The Registered Nurse will maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education, delegate patient care priorities based on the team's experience level, and supervise assigned personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment.
• Plan and anticipate safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association).
• Must have vent/trach experience.
• Must have LTAC experience in a hospital setting.
• Must hold a valid Ohio RN or multi-state RN license.

Schedule

This position requires a shift from 07:00 to 19:30.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
