Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, no call, weekends, or holidays.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician will perform essential functions within the cardiac catheterization lab, providing support through the execution of various procedures designed to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions. The technician will work collaboratively with the cardiology team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare and maintain lab equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and functional.
• Monitor patient vitals and comfort levels throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role within a cardiac catheterization lab.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Familiarity with catheterization techniques and patient monitoring systems.
