Trauma Nurse Lead - Night Shift

Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends.

Job Description

The Trauma Nurse Lead position is critical in the emergency room environment, focusing on the initial primary and secondary survey period for trauma patients. Candidates must have extensive experience in emergency department and trauma care.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary and secondary patient assessments in a trauma setting.
• Run mass transfusions using a level 1 rapid infuser.
• Assist in the operating room as required.
• Provide strong IV support and establish IV access for patients.
• Demonstrate rapid critical thinking skills in high-stress situations.
• Perform emergency bedside procedures, including IV placements, spinal stabilization, and chest tube assistance.
• Maintain patient care and safety through effective teamwork in trauma situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current TNCC certification is mandatory.
• ENPC certification is preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Strong IV background and experience in high-pressure emergency settings.
