Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

RN will work four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The position includes a rotating call schedule with both weekday and weekend call responsibilities, aligned with the general staff rotation.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room setting. The RN will assist in surgical procedures and ensure the well-being of patients during and after surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Assist surgeons during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and comfort levels.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the OR.
• Document patient care and interventions accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent OR experience.
• Robotic, Neuro, and Ortho experience preferred.
• Epic EMR proficiency is required.
