Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, demonstrating competencies in phlebotomy and intravenous (IV) placement as essential skills. Ideal candidates should be proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response protocols, and various respiratory interventions.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer peripheral line care and management
• Utilize rapid response teams effectively
• Provide care for patients with cardiac and stroke diagnoses
• Perform daily living activities and vital signs monitoring with assistance from PCTs

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar role
• Current NY RN license
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
