Day shift - 4x12 hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg and Intermediate Care unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population with a mixture of medical/surgical and intermediate care needs. This role requires a flexible approach, as the nurse may also assist with overflow medical/surgical patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a patient population in a Med/Surg and Intermediate Care setting.
• Assist with patient assessments, monitoring, and care planning.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias is advantageous.
• State or Compact nursing license must be active and in hand at the time of submission.
