Registered Nurse - Telemetry/Ortho/Trauma Unit

Expected to work 4 × 12-hour shifts per week (totaling 48 hours).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced Telemetry/Ortho/Trauma unit, managing a diverse patient population including adolescent and adult patients. Responsibilities will include the management of cardiac drips and care for orthopedic, trauma, and neurosurgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer cardiac drips.
• Provide care for orthopedic and trauma patients, including joint treatments, wound care, chest tube management, and traction care.
• Assist in the care of neurosurgical patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes in condition to the appropriate health care team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Valid PA or Compact RN License required.
