Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU). The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center and a strong background in Surgical ICU nursing. The STICU is a fast-paced environment where teamwork and flexibility are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients.
• Perform advanced procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertion.
• Administer medications and manage CRRT/HD as required.
• Monitor patient vitals and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Nursing License
• Active ACLS and BLS Certifications
• Experience in Trauma ICU and Surgical ICU settings
• Acute Care ICU skills are a must
