Registered Nurse - Days

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts (Days 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM), with every other weekend and holiday coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced registered nurses to join our team. As a vital member of the healthcare team, the nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary members to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members for patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
• Documents according to standards of care and develops individualized patient plans as prescribed by the physician.
• Participates in department performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Utilizes clinical expertise to guide other units or departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
• Applies critical thinking concerning patient safety and experience while escalating issues to the appropriate chain of command.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License
• CPR/BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Education verification
• Experience in nursing is preferred
