Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, end-of-life care to patients in a home-like setting.
• Assist patients in identifying personal goals of care and support caregivers in their roles.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills and excellence in assessment and critical thinking.
• Manage symptoms effectively and provide comprehensive support—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual.
• Work collaboratively with the Ferris Care Center (FCC) team to deliver intensive medical care to patients who prefer not to be hospitalized.

Schedule

This position includes a shift of 3-12's from 7 PM to 7 AM, rotating. There is an on-call requirement of 2 shifts per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Candidates must possess a valid RN license and aligned experience in hospice care or related nursing fields.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
