Contract - RN - ER - Free Standing Emergency Department

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekends: Rotate

Job Description

The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care in a Free Standing Emergency Department setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage based on the clinical presentation.
• Initiate and monitor IV therapy and medications as prescribed.
• Conduct 12 lead EKGs and document patient information in EMR (Meditech).
• Participate in routine emergency procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• FSED experience preferred.
• Less than 2 years experience in emergency care.
