• 3x12-Hour Nights (19:00 - 07:00)
• Every other weekend

Job Description

Seeking a qualified MedSurg RN to provide exceptional, evidence-based nursing care in an Intermediate Care unit dedicated to adult patients. The RN will care for patients who require more specialized monitoring and interventions. This role involves managing patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring of patients
• Management of airway, acute BIPAP support, and arterial/central line care
• Administer IV medications and manage titrated infusions
• Apply isolation precautions and provide compassionate patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a current New York RN license in hand
• 1 year of nursing experience in a MedSurg setting
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory
• Telemetry and critical care experience preferred
