Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a night shift position consisting of 4 twelve-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous charge experience and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a vital member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for managing patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the well-being of your patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and medical conditions.
• Assist with chest tube insertion/removal and other procedures.
• Manage patients on ventilators and provide care for ventilated patients.
• Perform blood product administration and handle phlebotomy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Document patient care in the electronic charting system (Epic preferred).

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with charge experience preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Experience with patient ratios of 2:1.
• Experience in surgical intensive care or LTAC preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.
