Respiratory Therapist

This position offers a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with an expected rotation of every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment and be responsible for providing expert respiratory care and diagnostic services.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and record patients' progress and responses to therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

Assignment Duration

This is a contracted position with an expected duration of 13 weeks.
