This position requires a 12-hour night shift with rotating weekends and a call rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Traveler RN to join our Family Birth Place team. The role involves L&D with responsibilities in the Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and postpartum care, providing couplet care for families. You will be caring for approximately 60 deliveries each month, including babies from 32 weeks and up. We are dedicated to providing evidence-based care and creating a supportive, enjoyable work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Assist in the OR and PACU as needed.
• Coordinate and provide couplet care for newborns and their families.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in call rotation and work scheduled shifts as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Colorado RN license or compact license valid in Colorado.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certification required.
• Charge Nurse experience is essential.
• Limited Requests for Time Off (RTO) preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
