Physical Therapist - Contract Position

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing physical therapy interventions aimed at achieving patient goals. This role requires effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and identify appropriate physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain standards for professional physical therapy practice.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and recommend changes to the treatment plan as necessary.
• Provide oversight and support to Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians.
• Document patient progress and communicate with physicians regarding any necessary changes in care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Previous experience in physical therapy preferred but not required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English; additional languages preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
