Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides high-quality Nuclear Medicine data to interpreting physicians. Responsibilities include operating state-of-the-art scintillation cameras and other support equipment to produce high-quality Nuclear Medicine studies while adhering to departmental procedures and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Nuclear Medicine procedures for patients across all age groups, demonstrating adaptability to physical and cognitive needs.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient scheduling and appropriate exams.
• Order radiopharmaceuticals and coordinate repairs in the absence of a supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records and perform minor clerical duties as needed.
• Participate in call schedules during periods of short staffing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Licensure: AART or RCIS, NV State License (Must have NV license in hand before start date).
• Required Certification: BLS (AHA).
