Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the RN performs patient care functions as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing and St. Joseph Hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision for the shift the RN is assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting as required.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise junior nursing staff during assigned shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Maine RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• Fully vaccinated from COVID (per State Mandate).

Schedule

This is a Days shift position with flexible hours.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
