7 PM - 7 AM, with weekend shifts every other week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients.
• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and document patient progress, responding to changes as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding health issues and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting.
• Current and active RN license.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred.
