Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with floating and call required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a general medical-surgical inpatient nursing unit. This position may involve care for occasional non-critical pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform general med/surg nursing duties.
• Manage patient care effectively, adhering to a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Participate in blocked scheduling when accommodated.
• Adhere to policies regarding fingerprints for New Mexico travelers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
• Active RN license is required.
