Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care within a behavioral health setting. This role includes performing interventions, medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. The RN documents patient care, monitors health conditions, and collaborates with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions and document patient care.
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physician, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene and nutrition.
• Collaborate across disciplines for patient care, including transfers and discharges.
• Evaluate learning needs and provide education tailored to patients and families.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state RN license and a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
