Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. The ICU provides critical care for patients of all ages, with a focus on high acuity cases. This role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medication, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitoring in a high-acuity ICU setting.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Evaluate and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in the management of critical care equipment.
• Educate patients and families regarding their conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in ICU settings preferred.
• Must be able to float as needed and manage a patient ratio of 1:2-3.
