Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care in the ICU and Emergency Room settings. This role requires a strong background in critical care and emergency procedures to effectively manage diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Collects and assesses patient data and reports critical findings to physicians.
• Documents physical assessment findings, identifying abnormalities.
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care.
• Advocates for patients and their families.
• Conducts interventions in accordance with hospital policies.
• Evaluates patient outcomes relative to care goals.
• Adheres to safety guidelines while interacting with patients.
• Maintains professionalism and open communication with all stakeholders.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Licensure to practice in New York State.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
• Recent experience in both Critical Care and Emergency Department settings.
• NIHSS Certification.
• Moderate Sedation Certification.
