Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit. The RN must demonstrate competency to function as the primary nurse in our rural Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in line with organizational standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
• At least 2 years of experience as an RN.
• Ability to operate effectively in a low oxygen environment (8,000 feet elevation).
