Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care. This position requires the ability to float between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum settings.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Circulate in the operating room during cesarean sections.
• Administer medications, including blood and blood products.
• Manage patient care through high-risk antepartum, low-risk labor, and delivery scenarios.
• Conduct triage of obstetrical patients and perform sterile vaginal exams.
• Maintain vital signs and administer pain management therapies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care.
• Valid Compact RN License.
• Certifications required: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, and ACLS.
• Skills in intravenous (IV) starts and administration of medications are essential.
