Registered Nurse - Night Shift Behavioral Health Unit

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Behavioral Health Unit. The role involves providing quality patient care during the night shift, with focus on monitoring, administering medications, and supporting patients with behavioral health needs.

Schedule

Shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Monitor and document patient progress and changes in behavior.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed to ensure patient safety and wellbeing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience in a Behavioral Health setting is preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply, but must obtain licensure prior to the start date.
