Travel RN - Med Surg

Schedule

This position requires night shifts, specifically from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Travel RN in Med Surg will provide quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, overseeing medication administration, patient assessments, and implementing care plans. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct regular assessments of patient conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and report any abnormalities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in compact or AL.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Cerner experience preferred.
