Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Medical Lab Scientist for Point of Care Testing in the ER Lab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests accurately while also being willing to take on clerical duties as assigned by the Nursing and Lab Director in support of facility operations. This position requires a full MLS (Medical Lab Scientist) certification through ASCP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform Point of Care Testing (POC) as required.
• Assist with clerical duties to support operations.
• Maintain quality assurance in testing procedures.
• Document all lab results accurately in the EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Full MLS certification through ASCP or an equivalent certification.
• Experience with Point of Care Testing preferred.
