Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Night Shifts (18:45 - 07:15), including weekend coverage every other weekend as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, responsible for managing a range of patient needs. The nurse will utilize skills in monitoring, assessing, and implementing patient care plans, adhering to best practices and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient health status and vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and manage patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families about care plans and health maintenance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty area.
• Must have experience with EPIC documentation.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred.
