Registered Nurse - LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)

Night shift: 3x12-Hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our LDRP team. The nurse will rotate through Labor, Triage, and Mother-Baby care postpartum, providing essential care to our patients. Each nurse will manage an assigned number of couplets and assist with various aspects of labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in LDRP, including labor and delivery support and postpartum care.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal conditions during labor.
• Participate in childbirth education and support breastfeeding and lactation efforts.
• Perform and assist with high-risk deliveries and C-sections as necessary.
• Ensure safe medication administration and patient teaching pre and post-delivery.
• Document all care in the EPIC charting system promptly.
• Be available for on-call hours, balancing with scheduled shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience required.
• Current certifications: NRP, AWHONN, FHM, and OB surgical recovery highly preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 3-4 couplets in postpartum and 1-2 in labor.
