Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

Schedule

Monday-Friday from 07:00 to 15:30 with call shifts on weekends and during the week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our cardiac care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing with specific skills related to cardiovascular procedures and patient monitoring. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adults and geriatric patients in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Assist with various cardiac procedures and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize advanced technology and charting systems effectively.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with prior charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Valid RN license (Compact license accepted).
• Experience in a trauma level II facility is essential.
