Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team. This position requires working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, providing care to adult patients recovering from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PACU nursing and be capable of providing ICU-level care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients' post-anesthesia recovery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain stable patient conditions by assessing vital signs and administering medication as needed.
• Provide one-on-one care for patients during the initial recovery period, transitioning to a 2:1 ratio as patients stabilize.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and hospital policies during patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of PACU experience.
• ICU level of care competency is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• CPAN and TCAR certifications are preferred.
