Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The facility specializes in the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses, including strokes, traumatic brain injuries, post orthopedic surgeries, and more. The role involves providing compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to patients on the rehabilitation unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition, responding promptly to any changes.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with an every other weekend requirement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania or a compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings.
