Med/Surg-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a night shift position with a 12-hour shift rotation.

Job Description

The Med/Surg-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a fast-paced, 10-bed admission unit that caters to general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a rapid admission environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a dynamic admission unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Assist with patient admissions and manage rapid turnover in patient loads.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry specialty.
• Active RN license with Nursys license verification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Must provide a comprehensive work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist and references required.
