PCU Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours scheduled and a guaranteed 24 hours per week.

Location

Candidates must float between two campuses, with the primary location being in Arizona. Please note that Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments in any Arizona facility.

Job Description

As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit. You will be expected to utilize your skills in critical thinking and apply advanced nursing techniques to manage and treat patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients in a progressive care environment.
• Monitor vital signs and symptoms of patients and communicate changes to medical staff.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience within the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications must be from an approved provider: AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active RN license verified within the last 30 days.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors.
• A valid driver's license to confirm residency.
