Registered Nurse - Adult ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend, holiday, and float work as per department guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a high-acuity Adult ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have recent ICU experience, stroke care experience, and NIHSS certification. Candidates must be flexible in location and schedule to expedite the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU.
• Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs and overall health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, including recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS from approved vendors.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
