Job Description

Join our Cardiovascular Progressive Care team, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients post-cardiac and vascular surgeries. Your expertise will help ensure a safe and efficient recovery process for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, including but not limited to CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, and thoracic surgeries.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as per protocols.
• Manage epidurals, chest tubes, and tube feedings.
• Utilize various cardiac medications and monitor patient response.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have stepdown and telemetry experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Preferred experience in CV surgery and vascular patient populations, along with CVICU experience.
