Endoscopy Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 06:30 to 17:00. On-call required one day per week and every third weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians in endoscopic procedures and manage equipment in the scope cleaning and reprocessing room, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with biopsies, colonoscopies, and other endoscopic procedures.
• Handle equipment such as endoscopes, electrosurgical units, and fluoroscopy tools.
• Perform cleaning, sterilization, and high-level disinfection of instruments.
• Restock and manage room supplies efficiently.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient safety and effective procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous experience with scope reprocessing is preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to float among units as needed.
