Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will embrace the mission and core values of our organization, delivering superior quality care while ensuring safety for both patients and employees. You will play a crucial role in patient assessments, care planning, and rehabilitation programs, demonstrating teamwork and resourcefulness in overcoming obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Develop individualized plans of care by identifying teaching needs with patients and families.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in medical records.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, utilizing the nursing process for care delivery.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to promote continuity of care and patient safety.
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Maintain a focused commitment to safety in the workplace and patient care environments.
• Engage in professional development and maintain effective communication with management regarding service needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to the first shift (for specified locations).
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.
