Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a 10-bed admission unit, focusing on general medical and surgical patients. This unit operates with rapid admissions, so the RN must effectively manage a patient load that may turn over faster than typical medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Work independently while managing a patient ratio of 5:1.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg-Tele specialty.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Valid RN license, with verification through Nursys.
• Comprehensive work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist and references are required.
