Respiratory Care Practitioner - Night Shift

Job Description

The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for the coordination and administration of all modes of respiratory therapy, cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas monitoring. This role requires demonstrable knowledge and competence in treating neonates, infants, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients within the Cardiopulmonary Department.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and monitor patient progress.
• Perform cardiac testing and pulmonary function testing.
• Conduct arterial blood gas monitoring.
• Ensure quality care is delivered to patients across all age groups.
• Collaborate with medical teams to improve patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current California licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.

Schedule

This position primarily involves night shifts, encompassing 36 to 48 hours per week.
