Med/Surg-Tele RN

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg-Tele RN for a rapidly turning admission unit focusing on general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Manage patient admissions efficiently while maintaining safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients' conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members regarding care and patient status.
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines in a fast-paced admission setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a med/surg setting.
• Current RN license and Nursys License Verification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
• Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days is required.
• Skills Checklist and references must be submitted.

Schedule

This position requires Day shifts on a 12-hour schedule.
