Shifts: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A, Weekend Every Other

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and have a minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience. Our facility is committed to providing excellent, patient-focused care in a faith-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as necessary.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
• 2 years of critical care (ICU) nursing experience.
