Contract RN - Emergency Room

Schedule

Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, rotating weekends; no on-call required.

Job Description

The Emergency Room at our facility is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in an active and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at multi-tasking, working with a team, and responding decisively to urgent situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide comprehensive care to individuals in emergency situations.
• Utilize equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy as needed.
• Perform procedures such as splinting, EKGs, and behavioral health de-escalation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Must have trauma experience and familiarity with Meditech.
