Contract RN - Emergency Room

09:00 AM to 09:00 PM, rotating weekends. No on-call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, assisting in emergency medical situations and ensuring efficient patient flow through the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop individualized nursing plans for patient care.
• Conduct EKGs, splinting, central monitoring, and assist with trauma procedures.
• Provide airway support and de-escalation techniques for behavioral health patients.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment effectively, including Alaris pumps and rapid infusers.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (MEDITECH).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience in emergency nursing and trauma care is preferred.
• Familiarity with MEDITECH is a plus.
