Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required with a rotating schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a critical access facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Assess and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Manage emergency medical situations with appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per standing orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in emergency nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (NRP preferred).
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
