Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for our busy Level 2 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and certifications to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, handling an average of 220 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity patients.
• Manage patient assessments, triage, and care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide care for a diverse patient demographic including neonates, children, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer medications, including IV medications and blood product administration.
• Monitor and manage patients on BiPAP/CPAP and ventilators.
• Perform trauma-related interventions and care for patients with varying medical emergencies.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Ability to manage patients in high-stress and fast-paced settings.
• Two-step PPD and Flu Vaccine are mandatory; no exemptions.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required; no exemptions.
