Travel Medical Technologist - Nights

Schedule

Nights, 5x8 hours shifts, 11 PM - 7 AM. Every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Medical Technologist with ASCP certification to join our team. The role involves floating between two laboratories, performing essential testing in various areas, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood bank, and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank.
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures and ensure proper sample collection techniques.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in laboratory results and data reporting.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Preferred MLS or MT certification.
• Must possess 1-2+ years of laboratory generalist experience.
• Experience with phlebotomy and blood bank procedures is necessary.
