3x 12-hour swing mid shift (start times between 09:00 - 14:00). Weekend shifts required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to deliver comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department. The ideal candidate will effectively assess and manage acute patient needs, work collaboratively within the healthcare team, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and health status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid participating compact license.
• Minimum of 3 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (TNCC preferred).
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
