RN, Clinical Nurse - Operating Room

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Variable shifts including: 0700-1530, 0900-1730, 1100-1930, 1500-2300, 2300-0730 with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The RN, Clinical Nurse will work in the Operating Room and is expected to have the ability to circulate and scrub across multiple service lines including General, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Thoracic, and Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Circulating and scrubbing for surgical procedures across various specialties.
• Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and effective care during operations.
• Maintaining sterile techniques and ensuring the operating environment is clean and organized.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Operating Room experience.
• Valid Ohio nursing license.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Level I trauma experience.
• CNOR certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the day.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 250 lbs. with assistance.
